Overall Job Performance

construct.overall_job_performance

The criterion-taxonomy ROOT: an individual's total job contribution, modeled as a composite of the higher-order performance dimensions — task performance, contextual performance/OCB, adaptive performance, and (negatively) counterproductive work behavior (Campbell 1990; Rotundo & Sackett 2002 relative-weights). The shared criterion that selection predicts and development targets, and that aggregates to team-capability. Established literature construct.

§1How it’s measured

This is a behavioral construct — an event recorded in HR systems, not a self-report. It is measured as an operational metric with a formula, not a questionnaire; a Likert scale here would be a category error.

§3The math on what we know

Synthesized priors from the live registry: pooled r, studies (k), total N, top study grade, and heterogeneity. Rows flagged for heterogeneity or single-study evidence are directional, not settled — read them as a central tendency.

§4As a model node

Where overall job performance sits when you drop it into a model — what feeds it, what it moves. Read left to right as a small, actionable causal claim.

Composed live from the Principia registry. Effect sizes are synthesized priors (random-effects meta-analysis); grades are the top study-quality grade in each pool; I² is pooled heterogeneity. Source-instrument item wording is withheld pending copyright clearance (PRN-207); the Principia rendering is owned and shown in full.
