Work self-efficacy

construct.work_self_efficacy

Task/domain-specific confidence to mobilize the motivation, cognitive resources, and courses of action needed to successfully execute work tasks within a given context (Stajkovic & Luthans, 1998; Bandura's domain-specificity guidance) — distinguished in the PsyCap literature from generalized/dispositional self-efficacy (the Core Self-Evaluations tradition), which is treated as comparatively trait-like and stable across situations. This is the construct PsyCap's Efficacy HERO facet operationalizes.

§3The math on what we know

Synthesized priors from the live registry: pooled r, studies (k), total N, top study grade, and heterogeneity. Rows flagged for heterogeneity or single-study evidence are directional, not settled — read them as a central tendency.
